This is the process and experience that I had:
Initial email:

To help us evaluate your capabilities, we’d like you to prepare a one-page written market overview summarizing the top five producers of rare earth feedstock (Oxides, Carbonates, and Mixed Rare Earth Concentrates) outside of China expected to supply the market over the next five years. (additional details as well)
After this was submitted, almost two weeks later I received this follow up:

During my initial call the man interviewing me was distracted a majority of the time. Was not a positive experience.
Would not recommend even attempting to apply to this company. It is a waste of time and definitely does not seem like they a trying to start a serious company.
