Phoenix Tailings Senior Process Engineer interview questions

This company is a 3 batting for 10s. The amount of people I know who have also had unpleasant experiences interviewing with them is mind boggling. A few years ago I interviewed but dropped out as I had another offer and because they wanted to a "hustle test" which was a one month paid consulting project for them as part of the interview test. What person in their right mind, besides a desprate simp, would spend all this time to do a project for a company they don't even work for and might never work for, all for average pay? They've since dropped that, but require you to do a presentation ahead of the interview. A friend of mine spent 2 days on the presentation "that only takes a couple hours" and never got asked about it once he showed up on site.
