I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Prolink (Indianapolis, IN)
Interview
I first want to start off by saying everyone that I met with throughout the interview process was incredibly nice and I enjoyed everyone that I spoke to. The interview process was very long and pretty intense for an entry-level position. I started off with a phone call from a recruiter. The conversation was great and the recruiter I spoke with was helpful and answered all questions that I had. The next week I went in for an in-person interview with the VP of Operations in the Indianapolis office. It was a pretty casual interview where we just went through my resume and was asked pretty basic questions. The next week I went in for a shadow day where I sat with a recruiter and got to see what the day-to-day was like. After I shadowed, I had a 45 minute interview with two account managers where I was asked a series of STAR formatted questions (which are never fun), but the questions weren't all that difficult. I then was asked to come back in a few days later and was interviewed by one of the same account managers that I previously interviewed with and a new account manager. They again asked me a lot of the same STAR formatted questions. During this interview I was told that the VP of Operations that I had first interviewed with had left the company and that I would have a final phone interview with the new VP of Operations. I thought this was pretty odd and I was definitely kind of concerned. The final phone interview felt like an initial phone interview where I was basically telling him about myself and my previous experiences, not a final interview. A few days after the final phone interview I was contacted by the recruiter that had helped me out along the interview process letting me know that they would not be giving me an offer because they didn't feel like this was a long-term fit for me and they didn't see me staying at the company in the future. I found this to be a very strange reason to not extend an offer considering I had talked about how career growth within a company was important to me all throughout the interview process. It was a little bit disheartening to have gone through almost a month-long interview process and five rounds of interviews only to not be offered a job. I wish these concerns would have been brought up earlier in the process because I had made accommodations to be at every interview. I honestly don't think they were prepared to bring on someone new at the time due to their leadership changes, but who knows. Not being offered a position was a blessing though because a few weeks later, I was offered an incredible job at a different company. I just wanted to hop on here and let everyone know my experience and prepare them for possibly a lengthy and pretty intense interview process because I was not prepared to go through that and not be extended a job offer.
Have had initial interview with Recruiter. Nice lady. Set me up for 2nd interview. Not heard back yet, but it is making me write this review to even research the company. Will update.
Fast and really simple I didn’t have a problem navigating the interview. Everyone was really informative and easy to get along with. Thank you. And this was this morning after pill.
First with human resources rep and then with a recruiting manager. First was very quick and asked basic interview questions. The second was a video call and questions were typical for interview. Ask about competitiveness and willingness to work odd hours if needed.
