I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at PwC (Vienna) in Dec 2017
Interview
I applied online through their website and got invited to an interview shortly after. The first interview was a rather relaxed "getting-to-know-each-other" type of deal with a Manager and Associate from the team I applied for, as well as an HR person. The second interview was a typical on-site case study, with the Manager who I would be working for, a Senior Associate from the team, and the Partner, as well as an HR person. Overall the process was quite relaxed and the case study a lot more relevant and at the same time chill (aka realistic) when compared to other big name consultancies, especially the strategy brand of the likes of McKinsey.

Question 1
The case study was simply based on a recent project they did in the area for which I applied for. During the interview, they gave me a short outline of the case with a few questions to look into and then everybody left the room for 15 minutes to give me time to think about it and prepare some preliminary answers. When they came back, it was less of a looking for the "right" answer from me immediately, but more of an open discussion among everybody to discuss the range of potential answers. It felt more like they tried to understand how I thought and how I approached problems, and yes, also how much I knew about the area I was applying for, but less like testing how many hours I prepared for the case (as is standard for the likes of McKinsey).
Made it to a case round where they asked fairly basic questions about a business case and what I would do with new data. Pretty standard for consulting interviews, nothing unexpected.

Question 1
Given this new data for the business case we gave you, how would you update your recommendations?
My interview process was a total of 3 rounds. The first and last round was mostly behavioral questions, and the 2nd round had some casing aspects / scenario based prompts.

Question 1
They asked me to speak towards my leadership initiative and also gave me a case question that had some targeted follow-up questions.
Online test and then in person interview. The online tests were faily standard. Interview process followed why pwc and why the role etc . They then asked if I wanted to ask them anything and I could tell that they were interested to see if I'd researched the role and company and had applicable questions.
