Interview
There was a take-home project using their product (paid), a brief behavioral interview with the founder, and a "virtual onsite" half-day interview (also paid).
The onsite portion led me to believe it would be working with the team for a few hours and seeing how I would fit. It was actually another assessment by the founder, who monitored my progress while keeping in touch on Slack.
