      Interview

Applied online. Set up a phone screen the next week. Phone screen was easy/average, nothing out of the ordinary. They were unsure of the interview process which wasn’t a great sign. Don’t believe they ever hired anyone for the role as it’s still open 4 months later. They either have no legitimate intention of hiring or suffer from decision paralysis as it’s hard to believe they couldn’t find a decent candidate in this market. After looking more at the role and where the company is at, can see anything associated with marketing isn’t set up for success. For a company 2 years out of stealth, I would have expected them to have more growth. See they’re hiring more marketing roles which seems like a waste of money with no strategy behind it. Blowing through a lot of ad spend on PPC ads while having little to no organic inbound won’t bode well for the company. Company seemed well intentioned but think it’s a rudderless ship. Unproven leadership may end up being the company’s downfall. Would highly suggest caution if you choose to interview with this company.
