RadiumOne interview questions

I can see why RadiumOne is having difficulty finding good talent. It's the managers who are the problem. The manager who interviewed me asked technical questions that were not difficult for a seasoned programmer like myself however I detected strong opinions -- never a good sign. Part of being a pro is being flexible. There are often many ways to skin a cat. It is a mistake to think there is only one way to solve any problem. In this interview, this manager had the gall to ask me if I had been fired from my last job. That is a harsh question presumably meant to show me that I would be foolish to trust him. Not a good sign. He asked another red flag question: Can you conform to our programming practices? This typically means a company has rather bad standards and has taken flack over it before.

I applied online and had a phone interview a few weeks later. It was a little about my background and how could I be a good fit. Later got the excel take home test opportunity. The test was straight forward about the sales data and analysis of the data set. The HR person was nice and promptly replied to all the emails. On the follow up email I was informed that I was selected.
