There was an initial five- to ten-minute phone call from a person who obviously was based overseas and who basically just required me to confirm that all of the information in my resume was correct. Then, I received a phone call from someone at an external recruiting agency, asking to schedule a phone call with the hiring manager. I thought that this was somewhat strange since I had applied for the position directly through Ricoh. I would have expected an internal recruiting or hiring team to be handling the scheduling of interviews. Then, I had a thirty-minute video interview with the hiring manager.
