I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ring (Malvern, PA) in Sep 2019
Interview
Initial phone call, follow up video code interview, 4 hour in person technical/behavioral mixed interview.
Got an email saying they were not moving forward.
Negative review because I asked for feedback and they gave me a “amazon won’t let me give feedback”.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ring (Warsaw, Masovia) in Feb 2025
Interview
Screening call was mainly about coding and then had an interview panel with 2x coding, 1x system design and 1x LLD. Was fine overall, although the amount of behavioral questions was overwhelming.

Tell me about your most impressive project at work
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ring in Apr 2019
Interview
Had a phone call with HR for 15 minutes about the role and then technical interview. I got the question right since it was a question a freshman in college can do and even answered follow up questions correctly when asked about scalability of the question, but was still rejected for some reason because I didn't fit with the team. They might have chosen someone with more experience as I have 3 years and they were looking for 3+ years. There were 2 people, 1 from ring who knew about the product and 1 engineer that did the interview. The engineer was kind of strange and sort of untrained. He....talked....like this... in almost a robotic way and didn't ask me anything about myself, my job, my interests , just started the technical portion right away and even tho we ended 10 minutes early did not ask me any questions to get a better feel for me as if I was never a consideration for him personally, but got the interview only because the manager wanted to give a shot. He is originally from Amazon and has the same 3 years of experience as me. I dont think the interview process in Amazon is good but HR portion of Ring was replaced to align with the Amazon recruiting process because I had this same exact problem for one section of my Amazon on sites.
