Contacted by a recruiter about 5 days after I applied and spoke with them briefly. Contacted the next day to set up the next interview which was with another CS Mgr. They were very nice and stated that I was certainly qualified and would be moving me on to the next phase.
The next interview was 6 days later with two other team members (directors?) I believe. Prior to the interview the recruiter emailed me a PDF which was A Day in the Life, and I was to discuss for 5 minutes what my process would be to prioritize these scenarios throughout the day. The interview went well and they were very nice.
Then 2 days later, in my spam box, I had an automated decline email which I found kind of unprofessional, that simply stated "we are pursing another candidate who appears to match our requirements for this specific role". I was told several times that I met all of the requirements for this role and making it through 3 interviews phases would lead one to assume this.
I reached out to the recruiter and requested some professional feedback regarding my interview and also what requirements I no longer met for this position, because I understand that job descriptions can change. But instead of sending me a reply, she forwarded my email to another recruiter that I had never spoken to and she also did not provide me the information I was requesting, but stated that the team determined that I was better suited for another role. A role that I had never done in my life. . .and just added a link to their careers site. Very unhelpful, considering I simply wanted a bit of feedback as a professional courtesy, but neither recruiter wanted to give me the time of day.
