The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at SAP in Nov 2011
Interview
Phone interview -> 3 Hour test -> Product Manager Interview -> Executive Interview -> HR interview -> Salary and benefits meeting.
Between each stage was at least a 2 week waiting period.
They apparently interview hundreds of candidates for a single position so it is very unlikely to be accepted. It is especially irritating that they don't even recomponsate you for all the effort, time, and gas that you put in to these interviews. I even got a parking ticket because my car didn't have a SAP sticker.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at SAP (Bengaluru) in Oct 2011
Interview
I was selected to SAP LABS from campus (PESIT, Bangalore) on October 2011. The cut off required to attend the aptitude test was 7 GPA / 70%. There were a total of 3 rounds.
The first round was an online aptitude round which had 95 questions. There was 90 minutes to answer with sectional timing. The various sections were Verbal, Analytic and Technical. 33 people out of a total of 250 cleared the online round.
Second round was a technical interview and I was asked questions from most of the core CS subjects in my undergrad course. 15 people cleared this round.
Third round was a HR round and it involved me talking about why I wanted to work at SAP LABS. Also I was required to talk about my final project and there was a coding question as well in the HR round. 12 people were give offers from PESIT (and PESSE) .
I found the people to be very nice and friendly and was impressed with the way they went about with the selection process. The culture seemed very relaxed and informal judging by the fact that students dressed in casual T shirts and jeans were also offered jobs. (Some companies like Goldman Sachs required students to come dressed in business casuals for their interview).
Advice to other Candidates: Be technically strong for the aptitude test and in the interview be in a relaxed state and be yourself.
