I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SSM Health (Wentzville, MO)
Interview
The interview and hiring process was quite lengthy and was basically a 3-step process. Phone interview, regular interview, shadow, weeks of training etc. It took a while for them to get back to me between the first two steps of these. However, it was still a positive experience and everyone I interviewed with was very friendly.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SSM Health (Bridgeton, MO) in Nov 2017
Interview
I applied online and was sent an email to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview (typically 15-30 minutes) was very friendly and the recruiter kept it brief, then showed interest in having me come in for a personal interview with the team leader. The in-person interview was very satisfying, they asked a lot of behavioral-based questions, wanted to get to know you as a person, and followed up with a tour. I was offered an opportunity to shadow for 4 hours in the unit I was applying to. My shadow experience was very informative and gave me a full idea of what the work culture was like, how team oriented the staff is, and how they communicate to each other. The person I was following throughout the 4 hours was very patient, knowledgeable and personable. It was one of the most organized interview systems I've been through.
