The interview process was pretty decent in the beginning. I applied online and the recruiter reached out to me. They first screened me and invited me to interview with the team. I met with the direct manager and their direct reports (4 interviews in total). Afterwards, I was asked to complete a writing assignment for them to review my skill set. I didn’t hear from them for a week and followed up with the recruiter. I received no response and saw the job was reposted, so I concluded they didn’t want me. That was very discouraging; while I understand every role isn’t the right role, it would’ve been nice to get a response from the recruiter and learn why I was turned down.
