I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Scale (Washington, DC)
Interview
1 initial screening call with recruiter
1 call with hiring manager
1 take home test
1 presentation
1 interview with senior manager
They absolutely ghosted me on the last interview by not even showing up and the recruiter never followed up even after I reached. This might be attributed to the layoffs but was disrespectful regardless.

How do you approach discovery or requirements gathering with a customer?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Scale in May 2025
Interview
I had a disappointing and unprofessional interview experience. A recruiting point of contact reached out to me regarding the Enterprise Solutions Engineer role. During our initial conversation, he spent most of the time speaking at length about the founder, emphasizing his status as a young billionaire, rather than discussing the role or company fit. I was told there would be follow-up communication after he connected with the hiring manager. Despite my follow-ups, I never heard back. Unfortunately, the experience felt like a complete waste of time.
Stop wasting our time, honestly.
