I sent in an application and three weeks later I received an email to set up a day and time for a phone interview/screening. The interview was 30 minutes long and went very well. They were actually hiring for just a web designer role and not a senior role as was advertised. I believe someone internally got that job. This was frustrating but the HR rep wanted to find me a suitable position. I was told that I would expect a decision at the end of the week. That didn’t happen. It’s true that people within the organization reviewed my online portfolio of work but I believe they felt I wasn’t a fit. Which is totally fine. I followed up the next week for an update but never got a reply. All in all the process was fine and casual but ghosting is highly unprofessional. I would not recommend this company due to their ghosting practices and if you do apply for a role expect much of the same.
