Candidates applying for Sales Operations Analyst roles take an average of 3 days to get hired, when considering 2 user submitted interviews for this role. To compare, the hiring process at SecurityScorecard overall takes an average of 28 days.
Common stages of the interview process at SecurityScorecard as a Sales Operations Analyst according to 2 Glassdoor interviews include:
Phone interview: 100%
Here are the most commonly searched roles for interview reports -
1st screen with recruiter: He called 20 minutes after our scheduled slot so we had to reschedule. On the 2nd attempt he called about 15 minutes late which I missed but I was free the rest of the day so we played phone tag until I finally answered a 3rd time and we had a nice, boiler-plate conversation.
2nd interview over the phone with hiring manager: Zero segue from question to question. She said some pretty shady things about upper management and the overall condition of their sales team when I asked about the challenges the sales ops team faces. She also said people at the company were "very opinionated." Hey...credit to her for saying things like that and not expecting candidates to see straight through it.
She also said verbatim, "I'm laid back." Do hiring managers still say this kind of stuff? I would categorize such paradoxical assertion with statements such as "I'm humble." If at any point you catch yourself saying "I'm [adjective]," you are most likely not said adjective.
I was genuinely rattled by her cold Q&A. I definitely need to develop thicker skin in these situations and fight through. But, for the love of god, can we please stop acting like these sales ops roles have an unbelievably large learning curve. Most of them are admin sales support positions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe working relationship with sales team. How did you improve on a process? (Lots of overlapping questions on work processes). What software have you used?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at SecurityScorecard in Jul 2019
Interview
Received email to choose time for 30 minute phone screen.
Interview took 24 minutes. Was described next steps (phone screen with a higher-up) - with no hypothetical "if".
Received automated, impersonal rejection email two days later.
Misleading interviewees re: next steps - intentionally or not - then sending an automated rejection e-mail from the generic recruiting email account is not good optics for a rising company in 2019.

Question 1
They will ask you extremely generic questions, and leave you to essentially ad lib most of your own experience, skills, and aptitudes within that framework.
Hi- Trent here, VP of People at SSC. Thank you for sharing your feedback- without it we can't improve. I will make sure to pass it on to my Recruiters. I do wish you had the typical experience with the team, however, as they are the most talented, customer centric and kind people I have ever had the pleasure of working with! Best of luck to you in your search.
