I had two interviews. I met with the Chief People Officer first and then the CEO/ Founder. The CEO asked me very few questions. He did almost all the talking, describing his plans to expand their operation from France into Houston, USA and he verbally offered me the position at the second meeting. We discussed salary package expectations and the CEO advised he would have the CPO draft me a proposal offer right away. Then I never heard from him again. I received no response to my follow up emails to the CEO or the CPO so I can only assume they found someone else for the role and lacked the courtesy to even let me know this. I feel fortunate indeed that this lack of integrity on the part of the two most senior leaders of the company was revealed to me before I joined Sidetrade and not afterwards. I feel I have dodged a bullet.
