      I interviewed at Skillz

      Interview

A Nightmare Experience: Disorganized, Time-Wasting, and Incompetent Company. As a job seeker in today's competitive market, I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to experience one of the most disorganized and unprofessional interview processes with Skillz. My interactions with this company were nothing short of a complete waste of time, filled with multiple cancellations, rescheduling fiascos, and an utter lack of follow-up. Here's my harrowing account: First and foremost, it's essential to highlight the company's complete lack of organization. From the very beginning, it was evident that they had no clue how to manage their hiring process. After successfully applying for a position and receiving an initial interview confirmation, I was abruptly informed of its cancellation just minutes before the scheduled time. No explanation or apology was provided, leaving me frustrated and wondering if this company had any respect for candidates' time. To add insult to injury, this pattern continued with the rescheduling of subsequent interviews. On three or four separate occasions, I was given new dates and times, only to have them changed yet again, sometimes with less than 24 hours' notice. It was evident that their internal communication was nonexistent, leaving me feeling like a mere pawn in their disorganized game. Perhaps the most infuriating aspect of my experience with Skillz was their appalling lack of follow-up. After each interview, I was assured that I would receive feedback or an update within a certain timeframe. However, time and time again, I was left hanging, waiting for any form of communication that never came. It became abundantly clear that this company had no regard for the candidates they had wasted valuable time and effort on. As a professional, I understand that unforeseen circumstances or scheduling conflicts may arise. However, what sets apart a reputable company from an incompetent one is how they handle such situations. Skillz failed spectacularly in this regard, leaving me disillusioned and questioning their overall competence and professionalism. In conclusion, my experience with Skillz was nothing short of a nightmare. Their disorganization, frequent cancellations and rescheduling, lack of follow-up, and utter disregard for candidates' time was utterly unacceptable. I can only hope that other job seekers are spared from enduring such a chaotic and frustrating experience. Needless to say, I would strongly advise anyone considering working for this company to proceed with extreme caution.
