Had a first interview 30-minute with a recruiter. It ended with him saying he will set a followup interview the next week. More than 6 months have passed by and still not word from them.

It took the team at Snyk several weeks to get back to me. It happens, I guess, but not the best experience for a candidate. It doesn't stop there, though. The Snyk team asked for availability through a calendar system. They then failed to respond until after all the days I nominated had passed (around 2 weeks). A while later, they asked for more availability. By this time, I had an offer somewhere else, and wasn't going to wait, so I used their system to tell them I would not be continuing. They ignored this, continued to ask me for availability, then eventually emailed me a very bland "thank you for your time, but we've gone with someone else" email. I didn't even talk to someone, and they're thanking me for my time preparing? As far as I can see, the entire process is automated, and not very well. I'm guessing this means their HR team is short-staffed and under pressure, so don't expect too much when applying here.
