A Snyk recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn about a Revenue Operations Analyst role. Our initial call went well, as did my interview with the hiring manager. A few days later, I followed up and was invited to a second-round interview with the Director of Finance Operations, scheduled for a week later. However, 20 minutes before the interview, the recruiter said there was a scheduling mix-up and promised to reschedule. I followed up the next day but never received a response. Ghosting candidates after multiple interviews is unprofessional, especially when they say they’ll reschedule and don’t follow through. A simple update that the role had been filled would have been perfectly fine.
