Had a total of 4 interviews scheduled, 1st with recruiter, second with Director of Technical Success, 3rd with VP of SE, and the last that was scheduled was with the VP of Technical Success. However, my 4th interview needed to be rescheduled and the interviewer was a no show.
This is where I feel Snyk has a huge opportunity for improvement, I emailed the recruiter ~15 minutes into the missed interview, followed up to inquire about rescheduling 5 days later, and sent a final follow up 5 days after that with no response. Which is incredibly strange considering the stage of the interview process, and positive feedback from the recruiter about my previous interviews.
I know scheduling errors happen, and folks go on PTO, and hoped to give space for that in my follow ups. Assuming positive intent - the recruiter has some unforeseen circumstance and isn’t available and I was not provided any other contact methods nor follow up from other team members. At worst, I’ve been ghosted in a 4th stage interview which is incredibly unprofessional. Perhaps a sign that Snyk is not a good fit in terms of communication. I’d definitely prefer a quick update that they’ve found another candidate or the role has changed than nothing at all.
