Interview
I got an email to schedule a phone interview. The person I spoke with on the phone (I'm assuming that this was the recruiter) quickly responded and sent a Google calendar invite for the interview date/time. Before the scheduled interview, I researched about the company, read up on the website and other sources online to get as much information as I could to be prepared. During the interview, the recruiter asked me to tell him about the company and I summarized what I read on the website. He proceeded to tell me that I was wrong which I thought was odd. He continued to tell me what the company is about and asked me the typical questions regarding my background and what the position entails. Towards the end of the interview, he stated that he'd communicate with the hiring manager/team with his notes and let me know in the next following days whether I had passed to the next step in the interview process. Days went by and I never received any follow up (not even a generic rejection email) and was basically ghosted on.
