Overall I found Sonder’s interview process to be pretty typical (phone screen with a recruiter, video call with the hiring manager, take home assignment). I initially applied for this role in Nov-Dec so the only negative part of the review is the gap between applying and phone screen was a bit long. The recruiter was friendly and helpful, she did a wonderful job at following up after each step which I appreciated. The homework is pretty challenging, for ops roles it’s definitely going to be more geared towards the hospitality industry (which completely makes sense) than process.
