I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2012
Interview
The hiring and interview process is very laid back. Rather than a typical Q&A format, the interview is a conversation and may not go the direction you think it will. Southwest is very big about making sure an applicant's personality will fit into the unique culture of Southwest. Using specific examples of how you exhibit a Servant's Heart, Warrior Spirit, and Fun-Luving attitude are key!

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2019
Interview
Interview process was quick and easy. I initially applied online and about a week a later I received a call from the recruiter for a phone screen.
After the phone screen another week passed and I received an email stating I've been selected for a F2F interview and for me to pick the date and time that works for me.
I was greeted by the recruiter and was taken back to a room for a panel interview. Everyone was friendly and it felt like talking with friends about what I love to do.
I received an offer 2 days later but declined due to the distant and the hours that was required. Southwest has been one of my dream companies so I wish it would have worked out. They are an awesome company.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2018
Interview
Hiring process was super quick. I applied and less than a week later they emailed me to schedule an interview. A week later i had my interview. A week after that i got a call that they wanted me to fly out and then the following week i flew to southwest. Then i found out my results a week after that. So overall about a 6 week process.
Unfortunately i didn’t get the job for more hidden reasons than i was told which was hurtful but life goes on
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2015
Interview
I applied online and 2 weeks later got a call from the recruiter and set up a phone screening. After the phone screening, I got an invitation to fly to Dallas for a panel interview. They flew me up there from Houston and I had my interview with 2 of the people on the team and the recruiter. They were all very pleasant, and after that, I flew back on the same day. After the interview, I didn't hear back in over 2 weeks which led me to correctly conclude that they weren't interested in following up with me. Sure enough, 2 weeks and 2 days after my in person interview, they sent me an email telling me I didn't get picked to proceed further.
