Easy interview process, applied online and received email from local branch for in person interview, they asked what do you know about the business and why do you think you’ll be a good fit for this role

Well I have been doing work experience in my local Specsavers but they didnt have any vacancies so I applied and got an interview from the Town Centre branch. The interview was fine. General questions. Tell me about yourself type and what did you learn from the work experience. Because I am a mum of two with no extra help so I told them that I am after a part time role. He said we are after a full time person. I explained that I really want the job to start my career with Specsavers. Its not good not to get a job because you cant do a full time role. He said ok if we get another part time person then we will split the hours. He also told me that he has got 40 people to interview for 3 vacancies. His attitude showed that it was just a formality to take these interviews. OK I understand they wanted a full time person and they might not need me but the thing that annoyed me was not getting back to me even it was a rejection. The manager didnt bother replying me. I sent emails after waiting for two weeks and then longer. I called them left a message that even if I am not selected just inform but they always say he is busy and I will give your message to him. This is such a bad feeling when you dont get any reply. Even months after now nobody got back to me.
