I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Specsavers (Caerphilly, Wales) in Sep 2018
Interview
First step is a invitation for interview, then you go along for the interview itself, mine was held in branch with two higher tier staff members. They were very approachable and fair. They asked about myself and my own personal achievements. They also asked what made me apply for the role and what sort of worker I was, i.e team player etc

Interview
Applied online, got a call to arrange an interview the same day. Interview was more like a casual chat with store manager. She asked about me and my job history and what I knew about Specsavers, then told me about the job. At the end of the interview she showed me around the different departments and offices. I've rated it negative because the recruiter who had been great at communicating, didn't let me know the outcome and ignored my email asking if there was a decision made.

Interview
Nice and relaxed, no difficult questions, felt really comfortable. First ‘task’ was to go on the shop floor and select a pair of glasses I liked - towards the end of the interview, they asked me to ‘sell’ the pair of glasses to them. Was normal questions for the rest of the interview. Had a call from recruitment the same day offering me the job.

Interview
Stress free, open and the communication flowed. The 2 people interviewing was lovely, welcoming and had a passion for the company and their team. They gave space for me to answer and didn’t over talk, they asked the question with a soft tone and not aggressively.
