I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Specsavers (London, England) in Sep 2014
Interview
Very easy going, turned into more of an informal discussion about optics once I had demonstrated I knew my stuff (3 yrs exp).
The main things they where typically looking for was a bit of personality, you should be affable in a customer facing role, intelligent as optics provides a good bit to learn before you get really good at dispensing all ranges of customers.
I was asked about how I handle situations and examples are the easiest way to answer the questions I found.
I also found that when I started asking questions about the stores performance and plans for growth, the interview became more of an informal conversation because we where sharing opinions and relating to one another through some of the challenges optics presents (In terms of running a store smoothly).
