I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Specsavers
Interview
after submitting my application, was invited to record an online interview. A few days after that, was called and asked to come in to the store for an interview in person. Two people interviewed me, going through my CV and and asking questions about my background and qualifications, followed by behavioural/situational questions asking me what I’d do if such and such happened. Basically giving examples of what I might encounter while working there. Was a pleasant interview and was over in about 30 minutes.
Brief interview, mainly was asked about previous jobs and why I wanted to work for Specsavers. The atmosphere wasn't tense, so I felt comfortable instead of on edge as I usually did with the interviews.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Specsavers (Galway)
Interview
Was invited to the managers office where I was interviewed by the manager and store supervisor.
They were polite and properly invested in the interview. Only complaint I had is it took way too long for them to get back to me with the results of the interview. And with how it was handled I have a feeling that they were waiting for a specific person to show up whom they already decided would be hired prior to the interview process.
