I applied in-person. I interviewed at Standard Chartered Bank (Chennai)
Interview
I got a call from SCB to attend the drive. They conducted 2 rounds of technical discussions. They asked me about my previous projetcs and some technical questions regarding my skillset mentioned in my resume. Then in the HR discussion they tried to bargain and pushed to me offer their meager package which I tried to negotiate. They told that they would get back to me. my mails were unanswered. I didnt hear from them. Cant imagine how they would treat their employees.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Standard Chartered Bank (Warsaw, Masovia)
Interview
The interview was the easiest I ever had. First call with HR, the technical round - got the usual java core questions without coding or algorithms. Third round with team-lead where the motivational and behavioural questions were being asked.
Got an offer in a week, but the salary was below market for this location - seems like they want their employees as cheap ad possible.
