      Food Server Interview

      Apr 8, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Steak ‘n Shake

      Interview

I walked in, asked for an application and was immediately asked to be "interviewed". It wasn't even an interview. The manager and I sat at a table and talked so he could see if I was competent and personable. I was told there would be a background check and then I would attend training. My store was so disorganized I had to call every day for a few weeks until someone finally submitted my papers and officially got me training. Later, after working there for a year, my manager told me he only hires pretty girls...gross.
