First HR recruiter was brand new and didn't really know anything about the position. He also forgot to move me forward to the hiring manger interview and I had to follow up just to make it to next steps. When I met with the hiring manger she had also only been there 3 weeks and couldn't tell me a whole lot about the company. After making it to the API written assignment I provided all of the correct answers (to my knowledge) and was emailed back that Stripe wouldn't be moving forward with no explanation as to why. Usually when you get this far in the interview process there's at least some explanation as to why I wasn't moving forward, especially after doing an assessment and never receiving results of how I did.

Everyone I met with seemed to be smart , knowledgeable about the company and very open about the challenges. The process was very positive until I was ghosted by HR. After a week of waiting on feedback I sent a follow up email and never received a reply back. No response is a response. It's very unprofessional when a candidate goes through multiple rounds and is ignored. Its ok if the role is better suited for someone else but to not even get a response is truly disrespectful
