Recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn. We connected for a quick call the same day to go over the job and my resume. The next week, I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager and a few days after that I had a virtual interview with one of the department team members at the same level as the position I was interviewing for. The recruiter was super communicative and answered all of my questions throughout the process, including those about benefits, workplace culture, remote options, etc. I received an informal offer about a week after that. One major hiccup was the automated system used for employee communications/the hiring process. I had to ask repeatedly for access to the official offer because I was either 1.) not receiving any emails (not in junk or spam or anything else) via the automated SyncUp system 2.) my emails for help were constantly bouncing back because I did not have an assigned HR contact person and the system was automated, so because I wasn't an employee, I couldn't view any tickets Once again, the recruiter was super helpful after I reached out a week after I SHOULD'VE gotten the offer letter because I couldn't get in contact with anyone else via email -- no group HR email was available and everything to SyncUp bounced back, even when I used a link given to me by the recruiter. All in all, the process wasn't too bad. It was the jump from informal offer to formal offer that was quiet scary.
