The interview process started with a phone interview with a manager. A second interview was then scheduled with the rest of the team. The overall interview process was easy and laidback, but the follow up (or lack thereof) and offer was awful.
My second interview took place on a Friday, and I was told I would be contacted about their decision early in the following week. On the following Thursday, I emailed to ask if I was still being considered for the position. I was told they wanted to hire me and that they would send my offer on the following Monday. On Tuesday, I received a call asking me to call back. I called back on Tuesday and Wednesday, but I did not receive any response until Thursday. The team then told me that the salary offer came in quite a bit lower than what was expressed in the interview process. I asked to negotiate the salary which was okayed, but they said I likely wouldn't hear back until the end of the week. On the following Wednesday, I emailed to follow up and received absolutely no reply. It has now been two weeks since my last follow up, and I have still not received a reply or acknowledgement.
I never knew it was possible to get ghosted from a company after receiving a job offer, but Temple proved that it is. Overall, the interview process itself was easy, but the management and communication is the worst I've experienced in a job search.
