Interview
Terrible interview experience. From the moment the call started, the interviewer’s demeanor was dismissive and disengaged. There was no effort to build rapport, and the tone felt impatient and uninterested from the start.
Throughout the interview, I was repeatedly interrupted while answering questions, and the interviewer appeared uninterested and disengaged. as I spoke I was frequently met with eye rolling and sighing and overall their disposition was not inviting. I was not given an opportunity to ask any questions at the end of the interview, which made the conversation feel one-sided and unprofessional.
Because of the interviewer’s behavior, it was difficult to give thoughtful responses or feel that the interview was a fair evaluation of my experience. The overall tone made it clear that the interviewer was not invested in the conversation, nor fully evaluating me as a candidate. It also clearly displays the interviewer lack of interest in conducting a meaningful or respectful interview.
Advice to Management:
Ensure interviewers are trained to conduct respectful, professional interviews. First impressions matter, and this experience did not reflect the level of professionalism expected for a leadership role.
The interview process takes a really long time. It took me about half a day, 4 to 5 hours. Big panel interview, with a presentation to start. It was all over the phone, No, in person option.
