I was asked to complete a project. They rejected me after I sent back the document. I didn't even get to defend what I presented to them. I asked for further explanation and the recruiter told me that the hiring manager said my work was 'not strong enough'. I doubt it because I asked my friend who is a BA at Microsoft to look over it and she said it was great.
