Interview
3 Telephone interviews with Talent Acquisition , HR and Hiring Manager
2 Personal Interviews
All conducted in a very pleasant and cooperative athmosphere, many questions asked that aimed to leadership and management style. Presentation was required with discussion afterwards. Personaliyays a big role in the hiring process. Aimed to get the right people on board
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Jun 2018
Interview
Phone screening with HR (who was 2 hours late for our scheduled call...with no advanced notice), then a phone interview with hiring manager 2 weeks later. Was told I'd hear by the end of the week if chosen to move forward or not....that was 7 weeks ago. A 'reputable' company will ALWAYS let a candidate know their standing one way or the other. A simple "thanks for your time but we're moving forward with a more suitable candidate" would suffice. Very unprofessional and disorganized process. Do yourself a favor and LOOK ELSEWHERE!
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Hillsboro, OR) in Feb 2018
Interview
Inept HR person. I always state my current salary so as to avoid any large misunderstandings. She didn't listen or want to hear or was unable to record that important point. Went through (9) interviews - 5 were face to face and with hiring VP. Only to be told "salary is an issue." Its either convenient for them or they're just that poor in their process. ThermoFisher has a 5 "i" mantra - Integrity/Innovation/Involvement/Intensity - to which I would add Insolence.
