-Hopped on a call with a recruiter to share my past experiences and was told I would be good for two separate positions. -I was scheduled for an hour-long interview with the hiring manager which went fine but I personally didn't think I was qualified for it. Then I received a call from the recruiter that told me they actually filled that position before my interview with the hiring manager but the person I talked to thought I would be great for the Associate Data Analyst and I should apply for it. So I did. -Now I hopped on a call with the recruiter and that led to a new hour-long interview with a separate hiring manager. A few days later I was asked to complete a special project to show my experience and present in front of a panel. Little to no description of the project they just wanted to see what I could do with the data. -The following day I was told that they would be moving on with another applicant. So I requested feedback and the feedback I got was that they actually filled the position the same day I had my hiring manager interview. -So they continued to waste my time with the project and presentation when the position had already been filled. For those who are counting, this happened twice. -In total, I wasted about 4 weeks going back and forth with them and have ultimately told them to take my name out of consideration for future positions because I am sure I will apply, interview, and present just to find out another position has been filled.
