Interview
First step was to submit an answer to a short essay question of how you would implement a feature that randomly selects winners to get free tickets to shows. Next was a very brief phone interview about my past experience and some intro about the company. Then was a technical video interview where you share your screen and they ask you to write a basic program.

Interview
I submitted a resume and cover letter online and, after getting an email that they were interested in me, I made it through a short technical essay, phone screen with an engineer, remote technical interview, and got a time for an in-person interview. There were a lot of steps, but they got back to me pretty fast which made it okay.
The in person interview went well and everyone was friendly. There were three mini interviews (one behavior two technical) in a row with two people in each group which made it hard to get past surface level conversations. The behavior interview only had generic questions like "Tell me about a challenge you faced" and I had trouble starting a conversation with these questions. I definitely felt that the senior level people weren't as engaged in the technical interviews, but the younger engineers were very helpful and easy to talk to. The technical questions were about what I expected for the position.
I didn't get the internship, but was given helpful feedback when I requested it. Overall, this was a good learning experience and I got the impression TodayTix runs smoothly.
