What an unhinged interviews process. In their own words these are the steps: 👉 Test 👉 Async video intro 👉 Home Assignment (up to a week) 👉 Technical interview with Design Lead (up to 45 minutes, video call) 👉 Paid test week with Toggl team (up to 5 days, flexible setting) + Cultural interview with Talent Manager (up to 45 minutes, video call) 👉 We make an offer I will give it to them that at least they are being honest from the get go, but it seems incredible that a company would ask a candidate to work for them for two weeks (first week unpaid as part of the assignment before even speaking with a human being, second week paid) BEFORE they decide if an offer will be extended. What about people who are already employed? Should they take holidays to be able to participate in this process? Clearly this process is nothing short of insane and it really shows the state of the UX market right now.
