I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at TransPerfect (New York, NY) in Jan 2011
Interview
I had a friend that referred me to the position. It was very simple. I met three people that were all really nice. I believe they worked in the Human Resources department. It was more of a company procedure. I was given a tour and was introduced to Phil, the co-CEO and Founder of TransPerfect. He is brilliant and has the most amazing vision for the company. We spent almost an hour together discuss his ideas and how I would handle issues. I really felt that my comments were taken to heart.
I was also introduced to Liz Elting. She seemed preoccupied. I only met her for a moment. She asked my about my back ground and welcomed me to the company.

How do you feel about $65K per yearn w/ full medical and dental?
Do you have any questions for us?
A phone screening with HR and a test after. A test consisted of copy editing and formatting which is not exactly the main project coordinator activities so it seemed odd that they are treated as a prerequisite for getting a job.
First call with HR, then with Dept Manager, then in-person interview with hiring managers. The whole process was quick, hiring managers were lovely and the questions were aligned with the role. Interview with Detp Manager was easy.
5 interviews (1 in person) for an entry level position and 2700-3300 salary/month. Told me only at 2nd interview that I'm expected to work overtime and weekends all the time.
