I applied online. I interviewed at Triplebyte in Oct 2016
Interview
I took a multiple-choice quiz online, then was told I did well enough to progress immediately to a video interview. The interview was quite long; I think like 2.5 hours. After that, I did well and they reached out to see what sorts of companies I would like to work for. Once I ranked my preferences, they set up a number of interviews with companies I might be interested; they all were onsite interviews, without having to do phone screenings first. Triplebyte saved me time and got an an interview at a company I never would have thought to apply to (which lead to an offer I accepted!).

Interview
Skipped straight to onsite because of Triplebyte profile.
Onsite was very organized. Three coding challenges (frontend, backend, CLI game), one architecture, one product, one leadership. Respectful and well managed overall. Pretty hard tech interviews.
