I applied online. I interviewed at Triplebyte (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2017
Interview
Did a test online with multiple choices and some programming question, the time allowed was tough but the problems were not.
Then I was told I skipped the second phone screen and directly into a video chat for 2 hours. Actually it took 2.5 hours, covering 5 sections. Coding section was easy but you need to be fast, like typing all the time without changing anything you did to pass this section. So planning how your program will run is important. Then knowledge check section. The topics cover basically everything in software domain, database, low-level system, web system, data structure. You are not expected to be expert on everything but knowing all of them on average and being expert on some of them will make you stand out.
The third section is debugging, I blew this one, it was not hard when I looked at it afterwards... But you definitely need to be familiar with the debugging tool. The fourth section is a system design. For this section it won't help if you know the problem itself, because the interviewer can go any direction he wants. Lastly I was asked several behavior questions.
Then I got accepted and they match me with many good companies that I had no way finding them by myself. I enjoyed the entire process and love to communicate with anyone on TripleByte's team.
TripleByte cast is : Nice to talk to, fun, efficient, responsive, supportive!

Interview
Skipped straight to onsite because of Triplebyte profile.
Onsite was very organized. Three coding challenges (frontend, backend, CLI game), one architecture, one product, one leadership. Respectful and well managed overall. Pretty hard tech interviews.
