Interview
Typical format for Triplebyte interview.
Stage 1:
35 question MCQ with a time limit on each question. Fairly broad range of topics but should be relatively easy for someone with a few years experience. If you pass you move onto the next stage, though I've heard if you don't smash the quiz you may have to pass a programming task first.
Stage 2:
2 hour Google Hangout call broken up into four sections.
1. 30 minutes to program a console-based board game. This isn't difficult but the lack of time means you need to work quickly.
2. Short answer section covering all sorts of topics. Answers are expected to be relatively concise so breadth seems to be valued more than depth.
3. 30 minutes debugging a 500 LoC project. Once again, this isn't necessarily difficult in and of itself if you can use debugging tools effectively, but time will not be your friend.
4. Design a web service at a high level and then talk about scaling it.
Overall a pleasant experience.

Onsite was very organized. Three coding challenges (frontend, backend, CLI game), one architecture, one product, one leadership. Respectful and well managed overall. Pretty hard tech interviews.
