I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Triplebyte (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2019
Interview
I was asked questions on a wide variety of topics, from web architecture design to SQL databases to mutexes. The interview is divided into four separate sections; the first is a coding segment where you are asked to code some small application (it can be many different things, though in my case it was tic-tac-toe). The second segment is an extensive question-and-answer process in which you are asked questions on a variety of topics, many of them having to do with web. The third is a debug section, where you are given a small program to debug. The last segment is some type of wildcard design problem, in which they may ask you to design a web system of some sort, probably something revolving around some type of database. Also, they asked how to scale the system up to a certain number of daily or monthly visits. If you do not pass the interview, you can try again in four months, which I plan to do.
(Of course, the interview is done via video call, but since this review requires a location I listed the location of the company's headquarters.)

Skipped straight to onsite because of Triplebyte profile.
Onsite was very organized. Three coding challenges (frontend, backend, CLI game), one architecture, one product, one leadership. Respectful and well managed overall. Pretty hard tech interviews.
