I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Triplebyte (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2015
Interview
I completed a timed multiple choice quiz consisting of mainly simple javascript, c, and python questions. Immediatelly after finishing I was sent to a page saying that I had received a high enough mark on the quiz that I could skip straight to their final interview. I booked a time for this on the website.
In the final interview I talked to three different people for around an hour each. The first interview involved me choosing from a list of programming tasks (all presumably doable in about an hour), I chose to build a javascript game. The second interview was a "deep dive" into two areas of programming/computer science I wanted to talk about (again chosen from a reasonably extensive list, I talked about some statistical machine learning stuff, and don't remember a lot of what the other options were). Final interview was the shortest, and was a quick discussion of what sort of company/role I was interested in, as well as an oppurtunity to ask questions about TripleBytes process.
All three of the interviewers were unusually good at making the process feel very low stress, and asked follow up questions and leading questions when that was a helpful thing to do at the time.
Fill out quiz and then taking coding interview. Fully automated followed by connects you to companies to have further discussions and further technical interviews. Very straightforward process. Accepted offer from one of the companies i interviewed with.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Triplebyte
Interview
Skipped straight to onsite because of Triplebyte profile.
Onsite was very organized. Three coding challenges (frontend, backend, CLI game), one architecture, one product, one leadership. Respectful and well managed overall. Pretty hard tech interviews.
