I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at UBS
Interview
My interviews consisted of three rounds, meeting several members of the team. My first round was great, it was online and informative as well as asking relevant questions. My second round was also online. My interviewers were uninterested, were not aware of UBS headlines or company news directly relevant to them, and instead obsessed around irrelevant questions about my studies. To make things worse their cameras were off as they ‘didn’t know how to turn them on’. Having gone through multiple lockdowns it is pathetic and rude that these directors of UBS are incapable of switching on their cameras whilst working from home. My third round was in person at the UBS head office. I arrived 15 minutes early as expected for a candidate. My interviewers had not informed reception I would be arriving, and after pacing the lobby for 30 minutes I got the call up to a meeting room where I waited a further 10 minutes for them to arrive. Upon arrival they did not apologise which is irrational to me, given they work with private clients where attention to tardiness is paramount. The questions asked were incredibly basic and dull and did not cover the competencies of the role, which is not what I expected from an MD/ Team head. To round everything off the process for this interview took 107 days. I say again 107 days… I had to chase the HR/ recruitment team at least five times in the process and even then they would not respond within 48 hours. Ultimately the team at UBS are sluggish in their reactions, ill prepared and cannot make dynamic decisions. If you are looking to apply for roles at UBS I recommend looking at competitors or trying to get an internal recommendation so you don’t have to deal with the HR/Recruitment team, and you will have someone on the inside to inform you. UBS has a great brand, but a sluggish and undynamic team behind the helm.
Mehrere Tests am PC. Deduktiver Test und Fragen wie gut man in die Unternehmenskultur passt. Alles machbar! Am besten etwas Zeit einplanen und fit sein um gute Resultate zu erzielen.
Applied on the website and hiring manager got back within a month. I applied with just CACS 1 but displayed my ability to pass in 1 attempt. Got the offer on the same day i pass my CACS paper 2
Interview was first over zoom with HR and then was in person with two advisors. The questions were relatively simple and they asked mostly about customer service experience and why I would want to work for a bank.
