I applied through a recruiter. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at USAA
Interview
Call from recruiter then team interview. You could tell that the manager had already had a person picked out and that this was just a chance for the team to talk to other people. The questions did not align to the position.
Overall was glad I did not accept. Most of the team was prior military with no business experience. Was asked several times if I had military experience as though my answer would change.
USAA needs to understand that they exclude a large number of professionals with their MISSION culture. That is why they are writing large checks to regulators.
HR screening call, then if selected you move to panel interview(s) - sometimes more than one. Culture fit is huge. Learn the company pillars before you have your screening interview.

Great and thorough interview process. They asked the questions applicable to the role and shared the teams goals. I met with the applicable people on the team to judge if it would be a good fit for me.

I applied online. I interviewed at USAA (San Antonio, TX) in Jan 2025

First I submitted application online. Then I received call from HR Rep. Next we scheduled video interview with 4 team members including the team lead. Then we had the teams interview. They were all in different locations and this was a remote position.
