I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at USAA (San Antonio, TX) in Jan 2015
Interview
I thought the interview process was interesting. There were two people asking me questions on one end of the table. I felt a little nervous considering this was one of my first job interviews with a company of this size. The interviewers try to make the interview process easy by making you comfortable. They will then go into certain details of what you learned in your classes so that they can see what you grasped from them.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They ask you a standard set of questions to give each individual an equal chance at getting hired. There were a lot and I'm sure you can find these online. One specific question I remember them asking included what were some recent difficulties you came across and how did you overcome those difficulties.

Interview
An intitial screener interviewer with a couple recruiters over the phone, then a day-long interview process involving behavioral interviews with multiple directors and younger analysts, as well as a technical component working through a financial problem within a group of three candidates.
It was comprehensive and case based. Two in person interviews, one on campus. Interviewed with multiple people. Had a background screening. Had a drug test. Met a lot of people in the process. Interviewers were outgoing and kind.
