USAA DevOps Engineer - Mid Level interview questions

Applied online, then a recruiter emailed and scheduled initial phone screening. Interview a day after screening. Recruiter has not come back with any information after the team expressed I will hear back in a week, I have emailed and called the recruiter I was in contact with without any response, super unprofessional. Later that day, I contacted a friend who works there, then asked his manager for information, and told my friend that USAA is currently on a hiring freeze. So essentially USAA interviewed me during a hiring freeze, making this a waste of time.
