A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and asked me to send my resume. I then had a phone call with this recruiter and then with a VP the week after. TWO WEEKS later I had heard absolutely nothing from either interviewer so I followed up and received a response that they had gone with another candidate etc. This is fine but I would think it would be common courtesy to at least let a candidate know that they are no longer in consideration, especially if they had never even heard of your company until you reached out to them, and then proceeded to waste their time with two interviews. So rude and unprofessional.
